4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and halved
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
½ cup pure maple syrup
¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
Pre-heat the grill to medium. Line the grill tray with alfoil, and place peaches on the tray, cut-side down. Place the balsamic vinegar and the maple syrup in a small bowl, and stir to combine. Brush half the mixture over the peaches. Grill the peaches for 4 minutes,. Remove from the grill and turn peaches over. Brush with most of the remaining glaze, and grill for another 4 minutes. Remove from the grill. Serve peaches warm, drizzled with glaze left in the bowl abd any remaining glaze left on the alfoil. Also delicious served with cream.
