Under a canopy of soft, twinkling lights, the impeccably dressed Year 11 and 12 students from Investigator College embraced the theme of their Senior Formal – Shoot for the moon…
The elegantly decorated dining room at the Currency Creek Winery Restaurant was the perfect location for the event on Saturday night (May 11), creating a celestial backdrop highlighting the beauty of the young people who attended.
The fashions were a highlight of the evening; for the young ladies this elicited dazzling sequins and crystals, flowing chiffons, and a palette of pastels. The gentlemen’s choices for the evening were to be admired with James Bond, grey and black suits among the most popular styles.
The Formal King and Queen were presented – Eden Van Haren and Vivienne Govan, and the Formal Prince and Princess Zac Watson and Amelia Babidge.
There were numerous other awards – including some light-hearted – and the recipients were: Best dressed male Year 12: Aaron Hancock; Best dressed male Year 11: Frazer Heywood; Best dressed female Year 12: Lauren Talifero; Best dressed female Year 11: Emily Sheppard; Best Laugh: Brooke Siviour; Best Smile: Hugh Davidson; Best Eyes: Cameron Pearce; Best Hair: Danni-Arna Zitterbart; Best Dancer: Emily McEvoy; Class Clown: Hugh Rayner; Most transformed: Grace Gilbert; Most gullible: Taylor Cox; Most competitive: Jonathan Shaw; Most likely to succeed: Owen Streeter; Most likely to be famous: Owen Streeter; Most likely to be a secret agent: Jayden Maul.
