See it. Snap it. Share it.
There is always something happening across the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island — and we can’t be everywhere at once.
That’s where you come in.
Coast Lines Partyline is an easy way for our community to share photos, observations and little moments from around our region with us.
It might be an incredible sunset over Encounter Bay, storm clouds rolling across McLaren Vale, whales off the coast, a community event in full swing, a flooded road, an unusual visitor to your backyard or simply a beautiful scene that made you stop and take a photo.
If you see it, we’d love to see it too.
What can I send?
Almost anything that captures life around our region.
We’d especially love to see:
- Beautiful sunsets, sunrises and landscapes
- Interesting weather and storm photos
- Wildlife and nature
- Whales, dolphins and other coastal visitors
- Community events and celebrations
- Local sport and club activities
- Festivals, markets and fundraisers
- Interesting things happening in your town
- Photos from around the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island
- Unusual, funny or spontaneous local moments
- Community achievements and good-news moments
- Local happenings you think other people should know about
You don’t need to be a photographer or a journalist. A quick photo from your phone and a few words telling us what you saw is perfect.
How does Partyline work?
It’s simple.
Use the Partyline submission link on this page and follow the prompts to send us your photo, information or local update.
When you submit something, please tell us:
- What is happening or what the photo shows
- Where it was taken
- When it happened
- Your name, if you are happy for us to credit you
Our Coast Lines team will review submissions before anything is published.
Not every submission will necessarily appear, but your contribution may be featured on the Coast Lines website, in Coast Lines magazine or shared through our social media channels.
Your view of our region
Some of the best local stories are the little things happening right in front of us.
Partyline gives our readers another way to help us capture them.
You might be standing on the beach when an incredible weather front arrives. You might spot the first whale of the season. You might be at a country show, school fundraiser, sporting match or community celebration when something wonderful happens.
Take the photo.
Send us a few words.
And help us show what life really looks like across our part of South Australia.
A few things to remember
Please only send photos or information that you have permission to share.
When photographing children, please make sure you have the appropriate permission from a parent, guardian, school, club or event organiser before submitting the image.
Please don’t put yourself in danger to take a photo. During storms, fires, crashes or other emergencies, your safety comes first.
Partyline is not an emergency reporting service. For emergencies call Triple Zero (000), and always follow directions and warnings from emergency authorities.
By submitting content to Coast Lines, you confirm that you have the right to share it and give Coast Lines permission to reproduce it across our print and digital platforms. Wherever practical, we’ll credit community photographs to the person who submitted them.
What have you seen today?
A beautiful view?
Something unusual?
A great community moment?
Wild weather rolling in?
We want to see our region through your eyes.
