Owner Angie Fletcher and her staff at Convenient Chef in Goolwa were all smiles last night after winning the Southern Alexandrina Business Association 2013 Business Customer Service Award.
The magnificent – and well-deserved – effort comes a year after being recognised by the SABA for being the best new business.
Angie said she felt extremely proud, and the award needed to be shared by her staff for their great work and customer service. “We are all thrilled,” Angie said.
It was also a big night during the SABA and Cittaslow Goolwa awards dinner at the South Lakes Golf Club for Kaye Gynell, of Your Finishing Touch, and Lori Paukner, of Cadell Street Clinic, who shared the SABA 2013 Customer Service Award.
In part, the awards recognise outstanding contribution to the community through business, which is certainly a reflection of the friendliness and professional service within the shopping precincts of the Alexandrina Council.
Coast Lines is extremely proud to have received one of eight 2013 Cittaslow awards. It was humbly received because this magazine is really presented by the community – without the support of its advertisers and readers, indeed some wonderful people who have provided enormous support behind the scenes, it would not exist. Publishers Ashley and Jenny Porter extend their sincere gratitude.
Other Cittaslow Award recipients for their outstanding service to the community were the Alexandrina Council, Deb Smalley, Frank Tuckwell, Goolwa Aquatic Club, Goolwa Regatta Yacht Club, Michael Duchow, and Vanessa Mulhall.
Among those to receive SABA special community awards was the team behind the incredibly-successful Just Add Water program.
